Miso Butter

Miso butter is great to have for fried rice, fish, sautéed veggies and several other dishes that use butter. Miso is full of minerals and vitamins and as a fermented food is good for your gut. You just need to mix a few tablespoons of miso paste with butter by using a spatula to spread it out and and mix. Imagine you are working at Cold Stone and mixing in some peanut butter to the ice cream.

I got my miso on Amazon but you can find it at most health food stores. It lasts for about a year in the fridge. Wondering what else to use miso for? Try my healthy detox miso soup in the crockpot. I also use miso in the glaze for this air fried salmon and mushrooms with wilted spinach. The opportunities are endless! If you got to use butter, you might as well make it good for your gut!
