Air Fried Turkey Sandwich

I’ve been seeing air fryer “grilled” sandwiches and just knew I needed to try! My sister brought it up a few times and it motivated me to finally five it a go! LOVE!!!

I have the Gourmia air fryer which I got from Costco. 10 minutes at 360 degrees and flipped half way through made the sandwich nice and crispy on the outside and melty on the inside. There are many ways to “butter” the outside. You can butter it with actual butter, spray it with oil or lather on mayo. I picked mayo, but any will work. The mayo trick is something I learned for grilled cheeses and have been using ever since.

I don’t know how you make your turkey sandwiches but I went classic. Mustard, double cheese with sliced turkey in between. I used American cheese on one side and another sliced cheese on the other. American cheese isn’t the most melty of cheeses but it is yummy! Pickled onions or jalapeños would be great for this and they are so easy to make! Next, I might need to try my grilled peanut butter and jelly sandwich in the air fryer.
