Top Frozen Trader Joe’s Items

If you follow my Instagram account you know I LOVE Trader Joe’s! Their products are just so convenient for quick meals. There are some items I always have in my freezer, here they are.

  • Hashbrowns: Did you grow up loving the McDonald’s hashbrowns and then were sad when you couldn’t eat them anymore after going gluten free? This seriously hits the spot! I pop them in the toaster on the highest setting 2x then top with a fried egg, goat cheese crumbles and pickled onions. My husband breaks them up and adds them to his famous breakfast tacos. They are not labeled gluten free but contain no gluten ingredients.
  • Mashed potatoes: Yes, yes, I love potatoes. I just used these for the first time the other day for my crockpot Asian chicken and veggies and it was amazing! Perfect mashed potatoes in 10 minutes. I just add a little milk, butter, salt and pepper. These are an excellent find and I’ve purchased twice more already.
  • Tostones: This is a newer Trader Joe’s item. I see many enjoy these with their eggs and black beans, panini’s and breakfast sandwiches. How do you eat them?
  • Jumbo Shrimp: These are great to defrost and add to salads and tacos. They have tailless and with tails, too. My favorite use is shrimp cocktail for parties. I always have an appetizer on the fly! Fun tip? Use a martini glass for the cocktail sauce. Check out my homemade cocktail sauce here!
  • Grilled Chicken Strips: These are wonderful to have when you need to add some chicken to any dish. I’ve used this for just about anything but my favorite is in salads, pasta and for chicken caesar wraps. Barbeque sauce goes great with it!
